Scam Protection

Billings and payments hero

Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of delivering Scam Protection and Technology workshops to hundreds of people throughout our local community. These engaging 90-minute sessions have been presented at venues including the Bribie Island Library, churches, community organisations, Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs, and many other local groups.

I have also been fortunate to facilitate regular 4–5 week courses for Bribie Island U3A (University of the Third Age). These sessions provide a relaxed and interactive environment where participants can ask questions, share experiences, and learn practical strategies to recognise scams, protect their personal information, and confidently use technology.

While the subject of scams is serious, our workshops are always friendly, informative, and filled with lively discussion—and plenty of laughter along the way. Seeing participants leave with greater confidence and the knowledge to better protect themselves has been incredibly rewarding.

With scam activity continuing to increase across Australia, helping people stay safe has become more important than ever. My goal is to provide practical, easy-to-understand advice that empowers people to recognise scams before they become victims.

Whether you’re looking to attend one of my 4–5 week U3A courses or a 90-minute community workshop held throughout the region and advertised locally on Facebook, I’d love to welcome you.

My mission is simple: to help Australians stay one step ahead of scammers by providing practical, real-world advice that anyone can understand and apply.
